MSc Professional Studies
The MSc in Professional Studies is a Top-Up Master’s Degree course to our Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management (worth 120 credits), which provides students with the additional 60 credits of the 180 credits required to achieve a complete Master's Degree.

addition to the 120 credits accumulated from our Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management, which can also include in-service training courses and qualifications as well as learning from on-the-job experience.
You can accumulate these additional 60 credits in two ways:
Work-based learning (WBL) projects
Most of your learning will come from work-based learning (WBL) projects. These are projects that are valuable to your employer, which you complete at work.
These WBL projects won’t involve activities you do in your day-to-day job as they need to involve new learning for you. You’ll do most of the work for these projects in your normal working hours.
Taught modules
You can study distance learning modules to expand your knowledge and understanding or to develop new skills in a more structured way.
Modules that previous students have studied include Strategic Organisational Excellence, Leadership Skills and Management, Resourcing, Learning, and Talent.

Therefore, some course content may change over time to reflect changes in the discipline or industry.
A level 7 qualification, for example ATHE Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management.
A first degree or other equivalent international degree qualifications.
If English is not your first language, you must provide evidence that you will be able to study at a degree level English, e.g., IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 550/213 or Liverpool Colleges English Tesr.
Work experience of 5 years and above, along with two reference letters.
As an online learner, you’ll also need a suitable computer with internet connection, together with sufficient IT competence to make effective use of word processing, internet and email.
