The Business IGCSE is an internationally recognised qualification that is designed to develop a good understanding of business terminology, concepts, and ideas within different contexts, such as international markets.
The aims of this course are to provide students with an in depth understanding of business ideas, skills, and concepts, through familiarising our students with business terminology and examples of real-life scenarios which are embedded throughout the course.
The course provides students with a solid understanding of key business concepts, which includes: stakeholders, finance, roles within a business, production, international markets, types of businesses, expansion and innovation.
This content is covered over 5 modules, all of which contain an assessment upon completion to help test and cement the student’s knowledge and understanding. Therefore, this gives our students the best chance of an IGCSE qualification in a flexible and affordable manner.
Am I Eligible for This Program?
The typical age at which people choose to complete the IGCES’s is 14 to 16, but anyone over the age of 14 can enrol onto this course. You also do not need any previous qualifications to be eligible for this course.
This course comes as part of a package where access to 4 IGCSEs is given for the price of £1500, these include English, Physics, Maths and Business Studies.

Approximately 6 months before an exam date, Students should book their place at an exam centre to take the Edexcel IGCSE Business Studies (4BS1) qualification exam.
The exam centre could be a private exam centre or a school or college that is also submitting its own students for the exam.
Edexcel publish a list of exam centres that accept private candidates. This won’t cover every available centre, so if there’s nothing shown in your area, we recommend contacting local schools and colleges directly.
Exam fees are not included in the course cost as they are paid directly to the exam centre. They will vary depending on which centre you choose.
The Business Environment
This module covers the various objectives of a business, changing business environments and criteria for judging success. The focus is on the importance of having clear business objectives and how the business environment provides opportunities for, and imposes constraints upon, the pursuit of these objectives.
Human Resources and Training
This section looks at people in organisations, focusing on their roles, relationships and management in business.
This module explores the use of accounting and financial information as an aid to decision making.
Marketing and Advertisement
This module focuses on identifying and satisfying customer needs in a changing and competitive international environment.
This Module examines the way organisations use and manage resources to produce goods and services.
Upon completing this course, students will now have the foundations and fundamental knowledge needed to develop their Business skills further. This could be through enrolling in another one of our business-related courses, such as Level 4&5 Business and Management. Job roles associated with Business include: Managers, Marketers, Sales team member, Sales analyst, and Product management.
